The SermonAudio integration automatically syncs sermons between SermonAudio, the Herald CMS, and your church website—eliminating duplicate uploads and manual updates. This feature is included at no additional cost for all Church Plant Media customers running Herald.
What It Does
Once enabled, the integration creates a two-way sync:
Sermons published on SermonAudio appear automatically in Herald and on your website
Sermons added in Herald publish automatically to SermonAudio
Updates stay in sync across both platforms
Your website's sermon page will seamlessly pull in your SermonAudio sermons and display them, complete with the filters and layout that you know and love
Sermons can be displayed on your homepage and subpages using Blocks
You can manage sermons in either system, and your website stays up to date automatically.
Things to Know
- Once you enable the sync, all existing SermonAudio sermons will appear in Herald and on your website.
- Once you enable the sync, any new sermon you add to Herald will appear in SermonAudio.
- Once you enable the sync, your website's sermon page will display all of your sermons from both Herald and SermonAudio.
- If you have existing sermons in Herald before enabling the sync, they will not automatically appear in SermonAudio. If you'd like them to, click the 3-dot menu to the right of the sermon in Herald and click "Push to SermonAudio."
- SermonAudio sermons do not appear in church mobile apps at this time.
- Herald fully supports SermonAudio Global Sermons. So, translated sermons added in SermonAudio (e.g., Spanish or other languages) will automatically appear on your church website in a language drop-down menu.
