Sometimes our team needs access to your Cloudflare settings to help launch or troubleshoot your website. Please invite us as an account member instead of sharing your Cloudflare password, two-factor authentication code, or API key.
Before you begin, make sure you:
- Have the Church Plant Media email address provided in your support ticket.
- Are signed in to the Cloudflare account that contains your website's domain.
- Are a Super Administrator on that account and have verified your email address. Cloudflare only allows Super Administrators with verified email addresses to invite account members.
Invite Church Plant Media
- Sign in to the Cloudflare dashboard and select the account that contains your domain.
- Go to Manage Account > Members. You can also open Cloudflare's Members page directly.
- Select Invite.
- In Invite members, enter the Church Plant Media email address from your support ticket.
- Under Scope, select:
- Operator: Include
- Type: A specific domain
- Name: Your website's domain
- Under Roles, select Domain Administrator unless our team has asked you to choose a different role. This lets us manage the selected domain's DNS, SSL/TLS, caching, redirects, and other domain settings without giving us billing or member-management access.
- Select Continue to summary.
- Confirm that the invitation applies to the correct domain and role, then select Invite.
- Reply to your Church Plant Media support ticket to let us know that you sent the invitation.
We will accept the invitation and let you know when we have the access we need. If the invitation email does not arrive or expires, open Manage Account > Members, select the member marked Invite Pending, and choose Resend invite.
Remove our access later
You remain in control of the account and may remove our access after the work is complete:
- In Cloudflare, go to Manage Account > Members.
- Expand the Church Plant Media member record.
- Select Revoke.
- Select Yes, revoke access to confirm.
Important: Do not use Cloudflare's Allow Cloudflare access setting for this process. That setting grants access to Cloudflare's own account team, not to Church Plant Media.
