How to Grant Church Plant Media Access to Your IONOS Account

If your domain’s DNS is managed through IONOS, you can grant Church Plant Media access to help configure your website and email records. IONOS’s partner access feature lets you authorize our team without sharing your account password.

1. Contact our support team

Let us know that your domain is managed through IONOS and that you would like help updating its DNS settings. Include:

  • The domain name we’ll be working on.
  • The email address where you would like to receive the access request.

You’ll need to be able to sign in to the IONOS account containing that domain.

2. Watch for our access request

Our team will send an access request through the IONOS Agency Partner Portal. Check your inbox, including your spam or junk folder, for the invitation.

3. Sign in and review the request

Open the invitation and follow its link to IONOS. Sign in to the account containing your domain and complete any security verification requested.

Confirm that the request is from Church Plant Media before approving it.

4. Approve partial access

Our team will request Partial access. Follow the prompts to approve the request.

IONOS describes partial access as permission to manage existing products and services while blocking contract management, new product orders, and service cancellations. Our team will request this access level for your DNS updates.

Please note: Partial access extends beyond DNS to other existing account services. Some usage-based changes can still incur charges. Our team will use the access to complete the work you have authorized.

5. Let us know you’re ready

Reply to your support ticket once you have approved the request. We’ll confirm that we can access the domain and proceed with the agreed DNS updates.

How to remove our access

You can revoke our access at any time:

  1. Sign in at my.ionos.com.
  2. Open My account & logout, then Login & account security.
  3. Select Manage access permissions.
  4. Find Church Plant Media and select Open details.
  5. Choose Remove partner and revoke access permissions, then confirm with Revoke access permissions.

Need help? Reply to your support ticket if the invitation does not arrive or you have trouble approving it. Please do not send your password or verification codes.
